The XXXI Nordic Conference on Law & IT will follow immediately after on the 10th of November.
The doctoral workshop is an opportunity to discuss your research with colleagues also working in the law and technology field. The workshop will take place from 12 pm (12:00) to 5 pm (17:00). Lunch will be served from 12-1 pm (12:00-13:00). All participants are invited to a welcome reception at Danowsky & Partners law firm here in Stockholm after the workshop.
Doctoral students are asked to give a short presentation (maximum 10 minutes) and afterwards there will be time for questions and discussion. The doctoral presentation could be about one narrow issue in your project or an overview of your whole project. The narrow issue could be a matter of substantive legal analysis, or it could be an issue related to the challenges of accomplishing a doctorate in the field of law and technology. For example, you may identify and discuss: a particular legal question, a problem related to practical research, or a challenge in applying cross-disciplinary methodologies. These are just examples; we welcome all of your ideas!
To participate in the workshop, please send a brief note identifying your chosen topic to present at the workshop. This document should be sent to: Liane.Colonna@juridicum.su.se by 21 October 2016. Also register through the form below, no later than 21 October 2016.
Professors are welcome and encouraged to join!
Please note that the doctoral workshop has limited space but we will do our very best to find time for everyone. Registration for the Nordic Conference must be completed separately from registration from the doctoral workshop.
Registration is closed.
