Title: Doctoral Candidate in Law and Information Technology
Samuel Carey is currently employed as a doctoral candidate in at the Department of Law, Stockholm University (SU). His research project deals with the intersection of AI, courts and the rule of law, preliminarily entitled “Fully Automated Courts: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of the Rule of Law”. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Before pursuing his doctorate, Samuel obtained a Master in Laws in International Commercial Arbitration from Stockholm University.
