IRI and KTH have received funding for a project on smart buildings

IRI (the Swedish Law and Informatics Research Institute) and KTH (the Royal Institute of Technology) have together with Akademiska hus and HSB received financing from Formas for a project that centres around the “lab-environment” Livinlab at KTH. The project aims, in the light of the new EU legistlation GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), to investigate the legal and ethical aspetcs of gathering information on residents in smart buildings.
